We are excited to share that the 2024 BC Summer Reading Club Artist is Meneka Repka! While we await her formal BC SRC artist page, we just wanted to share a quick bio. Meneka is an incredibly talented Sri Lankan-Canadian illustrator and teacher with a background in art education and curriculum development. Her artwork is filled with playful whimsy and imaginative wonder, perfect for our World of Curiosities theme! As BC SRC starts to wind down, we are excited to share the news of our 2024 BC SRC Co-Chair team. But before we begin, we'd like to thank Jennie Castleton and Surrey Libraries for her service as the 2022 & 2023 BC SRC Co-Chair! BC SRC Survey Reminders

A big congrats as your libraries begin to see participants completing their SRC reading goals! Thank you so much for all that you do for BC SRC and the participants and their families. Libraries running out of materials

We've heard from a few libraries that there is a greater interest in BC SRC than in previous years. While this is great news, this also means that some library systems have already run out of reading records/stickers.
