Storytime is a wonderful way to build early literacy skills through books, songs, rhymes, movement, play, and shared fun. This summer, BC Summer Reading Club is excited to launch a new age expansion pilot that includes children aged 0–5, with seven weeks of ocean-themed Storytime adventures designed to engage our youngest participants. While these programs are best suited for children aged 18 months to 5 years, all ages are welcome to join in the fun. From stories and songs to movement activities and imaginative play, these Storytimes help children develop a lifelong love of reading, learning, and the library.
